Which email apps and computers does it work with?
CPD Tally is a desktop app for Windows and works with the classic Outlook desktop app. It doesn't work with webmail in a browser, with mobile email apps or on a Mac.
Does my email leave my computer?
No. Searches run locally on your PC and your email isn't uploaded. On the Individual plan your CPD log stays on your computer and there's no sign-in. With the Cloud Backup add-on, you sign in and your CPD log is backed up to the cloud. On the Firm plan, each person signs in with the firm account and their CPD log syncs to the firm's cloud space.

Does CPD Tally know my professional body's CPD rules or guarantee compliance?
No. CPD Tally is a record-keeping and capture tool. It does not determine whether an activity satisfies the CPD requirements of any professional body, regulator or registration board (for example CA ANZ, CPA Australia, the Tax Practitioners Board, a state law society, Engineers Australia or a health practitioner board). You remain responsible for understanding and meeting your own CPD obligations.
